Don’t be a Victim of Bait and Switch: Tips for Authenticating Certificates of Analysis (COAs)

  • Can you view the whole original document, top to bottom, or have portions been cropped or blacked out?

  • Does the Customer Name match the source you expected?

  • Does the date of the COA match the production date (age) of the product you expect to buy?

  • Can the supplier provide multiple COAs, either multiple batch IDs or from multiple testing labs, with consistent customer information?

  • Do a quick Google search on the testing agency, are they in fact a certified third-party source for hemp/cannabis testing?

  • Scan the QR code on the COA, if the document includes one — does the lab’s information match what you see on the COA?

THIRD-PARTY TESTS

Please contact us, we will gladly provide recent Certificates of Analysis (COAs) from multiple third-party testing labs to serious buyers. The COAs will be watermarked by Canna Redux. We instituted this step recently because our test results have been altered and/or distributed as representing other companies’ product, or available through brokers who are not affiliated with Canna Redux.

Since testing labs use different methods and standards, the same sample can yield very different results from one tester to another. We regularly have our products tested at four third-party labs around the country, including DEA-approved and ISO-certified organizations. While we stand behind everything we sell, we do not guarantee that our product will yield the same test results from every third-party lab in America. Our sales contract identifies a list of approved testing labs that our customers agree to utilize to ensure consistency across the chain of custody.
